I thought I could write this, Quite easily and with flow, But it's not as simple when your gone And I have to let you go Those midnight talks and conversations, We had up until you passed, Hurtful as they often seemed, Were sincere right til the last I know that you're at peace now, You've succumbed your fear of the unknown, And all those thoughts of purgatory, Are well and truly blown. The guilt you felt and the regrets you had, Should now have passed you by It's time to take the comfort you deserve, From loved ones waiting way up high I treasure all our memories, But most of all your love, You really were so dear to me, I love and miss you Little Bruv
